Christopher Livesay is an award-winning foreign correspondent based in Rome, Italy. His recent work focuses on Pope Francis, immigration, and the threat ISIS poses to the West. He has reported from Latin America to Asia for PBS FRONTLINE, NPR, the BBC/PRI, and VICE News, among other outlets, and has appeared on the CBC, FOX News and Italian state broadcaster Rai. He holds a master’s degree (highest honors) from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. He is currently directing a feature documentary on Americans volunteering with Kurdish guerrillas to fight ISIS.
